Couple charged again after disabled son found wandering street in rain

(KMOV) – Authorities say a couple who had already been charged with child endangerment was again charged after their disabled 10-year-old son was found wandering in the rain near their home in the St. Charles County in March.

John Sahs, 55, and Kimbrela Sahs, 48, were charged May 30 with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

According to court documents, the boy was discovered walking barefoot wearing only a towel in the 2200 block of Campus Dr. around 2:40 p.m. on March 9.

Authorities said it was raining heavily and the temperature was 52 degrees.

Police said the boy was found about 25 minutes after he was discovered missing.

According to police, the child suffers from brain damage.
