Police search for suspect in Collinsville pharmacy robbery

(KMOV.com) – Collinsville police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery Friday.

Just before 8:30 PM, a robbery was reported at a CVS Pharmacy located in the 1800 block of Beltline Road.

Officers were told a black male entered the store and took an undetermined amount of cash by reaching over the counter and snatching it from the cash register during a transaction. The suspect then got into a vehicle and fled the area. No weapon was used.

The suspect is approximately 5’7, 170 – 190 pounds possibly in his 20’s with a goatee. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, sunglasses and tan boots.

He was driving a 1995 to 2001 Chevrolet Lumina with no front plate but a black plate holder. The car was light colored, poossibly gray or light blue, with a cracked passenger taillight assembly.

The same suspect may also have been involved in a similar robbery that occurred on Wednesday, June 19 at the Wal-Greens on Bluff  Road.
