(KMOV.com) –  The suspects allegedly responsible for stealing from a car outside a south St. Louis County restaurant were arrested Thursday.

The owner of Tucker’s Place placed surveillance photos on social media after someone broke into a waitresses’ car Sunday. Police said a woman driving a Chrysler 300 was a person of interest, Sal Meyer told News 4 he spotted the car in question  on the lot of Joe Bessel Automotive in the 200 block of Lemay Ferry.

“We saw the car get dropped off last night and they just left it out front with the windows down and everything,” Meyer said. “I closed up and go home, watched TV and saw the same car.”

Joe Bessel said he also noticed the same car that had been dripped off after hours, with a note asking to get the car fixed and a phone number.

Meyer then showed Bessel the surveillance footage of the car from outside the restaurant before they called police and the owner of Tucker’s Place. Bessel then told the woman in question that she had to pick the car up immediately.
