(KMOV) -- Arnold Police are looking for a man who allegedly scammed the Kohl’s store in Arnold out of $109.

According to reports, the thief bought six pairs of sunglasses at the store and then allegedly went to his vehicle, took the sales tags off the glasses, put them on five pairs he already owned, went back inside the store, returned them, and was given $109.

Authorities say store employees realized later that day the man had fraudulently returned the glasses and employees then contacted the Arnold police.

Arnold Police Captain Robert Ruckman said police have learned the man was in a rented vehicle at the time of the theft.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
