(KMOV) -- Police are searching for suspects in connection with 3 separate shootings that occurred Tuesday in the St. Louis area.

Police were called to a shooting in the 5300 block of Wells Tuesday morning.

Officials say the incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. when a 29-year-old male victim was shot multiple times in the leg as he was walking to his car.

The victim then drove to a family member's home where he called police.

He was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition. The man told police he did not see who shot him or where the shots came from.

The second shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday night at a home in the 2000 block of Obear and left one victim in critical/stable condition.

Police say they found the 28-year-old man at a convenience store in the 2000 block of E. Grand suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim told police he was struck as he was running toward the store after suspects began firing shots while he was standing on the porch of the home.

A 19-year-old victim also was outside the home at the time and said five black men asked him if he knew where a woman was who they believed stole drugs from them.

The victim did not answer and began walking into the home when he was hit in the back of the head with an unknown object. He then heard gunshots as he ran inside the home.

Two female victims in their 20s were inside the home at the time of the incident. They were not injured.

A 38-year-old man is listed in stable condition following a shooting around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday in East St. Louis.

The victim told police he was walking through a parking lot after leaving a building in the 1500 block of N. Kingshighway when he heard gunshots.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his calf and was taken to a hospital.

The man told police he did not see who fired the shots.

Officials continue to search for suspects in each case.
