ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Emergency crews responded to a shooting in the 5200 block of Highland Avenue in north St. Louis Monday night.
Police said three people suffered wounds in the shooting. One victim was shot in the leg and the other in the stomach. Another victim died after being transported via ambulance.
Police said they do have a suspect is in custody. They did not say if they are looking for anyone else.
Emergency workers could be seen performing CPR to one male victim as he was being taken away in the ambulance.
Reportedly the scene was tense as family members arrived while crews were still working.
