ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two people are accused of sexually assaulting a dog at their southwest St. Louis home.

Police said Dana Kintz, 28, and Shawn Ingram, 37, were both charged with unlawful sex with an animal, a misdemeanor. Ingram was also charged with possession of child pornography, a felony.

According to authorities, Kintz called police to the couple’s home in the 4000 block of Russell on March 12 after Ingram allegedly punched and slapped her.

Officers arrived to the scene and found child porn on Ingram’s cell phone and pictures of Kintz sexually assaulting a dog.

Police said they had enough evidence to charge Kintz as a willing participant, but she said Ingram had forced her to do it and made her wear a dog collar and mask.

Officials said Ingram posted the images to animal fetish websites.

Kintz later said she thought she was charged because she refused to help authorities in the child porn incident.

Ingram previously served time on a child porn conviction and is listed on the Illinois sex offender database.

Kintz told police said the dog has since run away.
