BOISE, Idaho -- A Notus man is in the Ada County Jail after a bizarre series of events in Boise, Idaho on Saturday morning.

Boise Police got a call around 6 a.m. that a pickup truck had been stolen from inside the garage of a home in the 800 block of North Houston Road. The thief struck the garage door while attempting to flee the scene.

About an hour later, police received a call about a suspicious man leaving a parking garage near 8th and Broad streets in downtown Boise.

Witnesses says he did not have much clothing on and he had blood across his chest and head.

Officers located the pickup truck and determined it was the stolen one they were looking for. When they pulled over the driver, later identified as 19-year-old Adrian Paz Jr., he was wearing only boxer shorts.

Paz was taken to a local hospital for treatment and then booked into the Ada County Jail.

He is charged with grand theft, driving under the influence, and malicious injury to property.
