PHOENIX -- A Pinal County couple has been sentenced for conspiracy to commit beastiality.

Sarah Walker, 33, was sentenced on Thursday to 24 months of supervised probation. She is also prohibited from owning or caring for any animals.

Shane Walker, 38, received 18 months of supervised probation on Thursday. He too is prohibited from owning or caring for any animals.

The Walkers and Gilbert resident Robert Aucker were arrested back in February after they used the website Craigslist.com to find a dog to use in a sex act.

Sarah Walker was planning to have sex with a male golden shepherd mix while the two men watched.

The Walkers had told police that they are “swingers” in an “open marriage."

Aucker told authorities that he had been in a relationship with Sarah for about a month, and that she told him she wanted to have sex with a dog.

For three weeks the Walkers emailed an undercover officer pretending to be the dog’s owner. The Walkers and Aucker then drove to an arranged location to meet the dog and commit beastiality.

Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrested all three individuals before they had contact with the dog.
