(KMOV.com) – A man was hospitalized following a shooting in north St. Louis early Friday morning.
According to police, two 22-year-old men were standing outside in the 5900 block of Goodfellow at 4:09 a.m. when two suspects approached them and began firing shots.
Police say one of the victims fled from the scene uninjured. The second victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police describe one suspect as a black male, 20-30 years of age with dreads pulled into a bun. Police say he was last seen wearing multi-colored pajama pants and a white tank top. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age with a short afro. Police say he was last seen wearing blue jeans, no shirt, and blue and yellow Nike shoes.
The investigation is ongoing.
