ST. PETERS, Mo. (KMOV.COM) --A woman is accused of running a drug operation near an elementary school in St. Peters.
Pamela Potter was charged with growing marijuana within 2,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said they executed a search warrant at Potter’s house in the 700 block of Estes Park on August 17.
Officers with the St. Charles Country Drug Task Force arrested Potter after they found marijuana growing, methamphetamine and chemicals used to make meth.
Potter lives near Mid Rivers Elementary School.
Potter was released from custody Saturday after posting a $50,000 cash-only bond.
According to records, Potter has an extensive criminal history, including arrested for DWI and possession of marijuana.
She was sentenced in 2008 to eight years in prison for distribution and manufacturing of a controlled substance. She served four months of that sentence.
In total, Potter has six felony arrests with eight felony convictions.
