(KMOV) -- A St. Louis teen is in the hospital being treated for a graze wound to his left calf after four suspects began shooting at him.

It was reported a 16-year-old male was standing at the bus stop at Carr Street near Carver Lane when three suspects approached him on foot and a fourth in a black Pontiac Grand Am. The suspects then opened fire on the teen.

As the teen tried to flee the scene, he suffered a graze would to his left calf. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and stated he did not recognize any of the suspects.

The Pontiac Grand Am is described as being black with a dark tint on three windows and a light tint on the driver’s side window. The vehicle also has a white skull sticker with a red tongue sticking out on the rear bumper.

The investigation is ongoing.
