(KMOV) – Computer problems are to blame for U.S. Bank debit cards to not work properly for many bank customers across the nation. U.S. Bank officials confirm that a computer glitch late Saturday afternoon resulted in many customer debit cards from working at ATMS, restaurants and grocery stores.

Officials say only debit cards were affected Saturday afternoon, not credit cards.

They also say the problem is intermittent for some customer's cards and not all are affected.

U.S. Bank says the issue will be fully resolved as soon as possible.
