ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – It’s pretty clear that online shopping for the holidays is becoming more and more popular. But according to marketwatch.com, a lot of those people shopping online are doing it on the pot.

The article says 16 percent of mobile-device users do their holiday shopping in the bathroom, according to a recent survey conducted by digital gifting company CashStar.

The survey of 2,000 adults, taken by Harris Interactive in November, discovered the shopping-on-the-toilet technique was more popular among men than women.

According to the survey, other weird places people do their online holiday shopping include during business meetings and when stuck in traffic.
