(KMOV)-- The family of Sheri Coleman has dismissed its wrongful death lawsuit against Chris Coleman.
According to family Attorney Jack Carey, the family does not want its lawsuit to interfere with Chris' criminal prosecution.
Chris Coleman is charged with three counts of first degree murder after the May 2009 killings of his wife Sheri and their two young sons.
Sheri's family has up to a year to re-file the suit.
