A search warrant filed in court on Wednesday revealed new details about the Coleman case. The warrant said that Sheri Coleman "talked to friends about how Christopher told her she was ruining his life and he did not love her anymore."
According to investigators, Sheri also told friends that her husband beat her up to eight to 12 months before the murders.
The search warrant also summarizes statements from Tara Lintz, the woman names as Chris Coleman's mistress. Lintz told police that she and Chris planned for a wedding in January, 2010. She also said that Chris Coleman discussed having a vasectomy reversed to have more children.
Investigators wrote that Lintz planned to move to the St. Louis area in August after Chris allegedly told her that he would serve Sheri Coleman divorce papers on May 5, 2009, which was the day Sheri and her two sons were found dead in their home.
Chris Coleman is awaiting trial. Prosecutors are asking for the death penalty; Coleman has not plead guilty.
