(KMOV.com) -- The man convicted of killing his wife and two sons was moved from an Illinois prison on Thursday.
Christopher Coleman is serving a life sentence for his crimes. He was being held at the Pontiac Correction Center in northern Illinois. A spokesperson with the department of corrections said, "In high profile cases like Coleman's, it's safer for both him and the jail guards to move him to another state where the case is not well known."
The corrections department did not say where Coleman is now.
