Grain futures higher, livestock prices lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 3 cents to $6.6375 a bushel; December corn fell 14.25 cents to $4.8625 a bushel; December oats were 5 cents higher at $3.4975 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 19 cents to $13.7050 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell .43 cent to $1.2672 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.10 cents higher at $1.5695 a pound; while October lean hogs were .55 cent higher at $.8657 a pound.
