NEW YORK (AP) — Sunday was a busy night for television, although not necessarily broadcast TV.
The Nielsen company said that AMC's "The Walking Dead" was seen by 12.42 million people, while the conclusion of History's miniseries "The Bible" reached 11.75 million viewers. That means zombies were slightly more popular than biblical figures on Sunday.
Once television's most dominant forces, the Thursday edition of "American Idol" finished outside of television's top 10. Fox slipped to fourth in the week's ratings. NBC was led into third by the return of "The Voice."
