(KMOV) -- An Alton teen is being hailed as a hero, for his fast attack, in a fast food restaurant.
Police say an armed suspect walked into an Alton McDonald's wearing camouflage and a mask.

Brad Everage, 18, says he decided to punch the suspect in the face and then hold him until the police arrived.
Police are now calling that teen, a hero.
Suspect, 47-year-old John David Knight
The suspect, 47-year-old John David Knight, who lives on Marian Heights Drive in Alton, is still in custody and facing charges of armed robbery.
