Junior Stars Taping Information

KMOV Channel 4 will be at Six Flags taping kids every Saturday from June 21 – Sept. 6, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm at Soundstage 2. Unlike last year, this won’t be a contest, so kids are free to come. Many have auditions for a tape date already and have been assigned guaranteed spots to tape. Kids 9-18 who would like to be a part of the show but missed auditions are welcome to come out and sing June 21 – Sept 6, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm on a first come first serve basis. Tapings will occur at  Soundstage 2 between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.

The kids that are taped at Six Flag’s have a chance to make it on Great Day St. Louis as a clip in the show. At Six Flags, each singer will just choose one song from our Karaoke guy when arriving at Soundstage, or you can bring your own karaoke CD. Later, our Great Day St. Louis staff will go through the footage and choose entertaining performances to use in Great Day St. Louis.  So, there will be no judges, no butterflies, no winning singers, and no singers who don’t win. We want each singer just to come out to Six Flags, ham it up on stage, and show us their most engaging performance.
