A three-year-old girl has died after she was hit in the head by a stray bullet in Owensville, Missouri. According to Gasconade County Sheriff Randy Esphorst, Allison Schneider died late Tuesday afternoon.

A St. Louis riverboat casino is closed because of high water on the Mississippi River. The President Casino shut down on Sunday because of the rising river, and won't reopen until the water recedes enough to clear the ramps at the entrance.
