Oregon couple arrested for abusing older St. Louis couple
06:13 PM CDT on Monday, September 29, 2008
(KMOV)- A two month investigation leads to the arrest of a Portland Oregon couple for abusing an older St. Louis couple.
Police told News 4 the abuse started in 2006 after the Missouri natives moved to Portland with the Andersons.
It would be an understatement to call this case bizarre.
Police said the Oregon couple basically made Charles and Tammy Whitworth their indentured servants.
Daniel and Taryn Anderson face 80 plus charges for their alleged actions.

Police said they stole money from the Whitworths, hit them, pushed them into walls and would force Charles to bite his wife.
Investigators also said from time to time the couple would sic their three dogs on the Missouri couple.
Those who live near the Andersons home in Portland told News 4 they had no idea what was going on next door.
News 4 spoke to the Anderson’s attorney and he said his clients are innocent.
This case goes before a judge in Portland on November 12th.
