Rezoning in Jefferson County causes concerns
08:28 PM CDT on Monday, August 18, 2008
(KMOV)- There's a controversy brewing in Jefferson County about the proposed use of a large section of land in House Springs.
The group that owns the property wants to build a Hindu temple along with a hundred plus homes and a meeting center.
While neighbors say they don’t mind the temple, have concerns this development will cause some major traffic problems on the two lane county roads.
Even so, there is a meeting plan to talk about rezoning the property from only residential to mixed use.
Citizens are invited to way in on the proposed changes at a meeting in Hillsboro on August 28th.
