Grandmother, 5-year-old die after vehicle plunges into Meramec River

St. Louis (KMOV) – A vehicle accident killed two passengers when it crashed into the Meramec River earlier this week.
Sandra Branham died Saturday morning at St. John’s Hospital.
Joshua Branham, 5, was pronounced dead on Friday.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday by the Riverside Golf Club at Yarnell Rd.
According to authorities, the vehicle drove through a stop sign at Yarnell Road in Fenton, went through some woods and then plunged 25 feet down into the Meramec River.
Branham was pulled from inside the vehicle and taken to the hospital.
