06:23 PM CDT on Saturday, July 5, 2008
St. Louis (KMOV) -- Some St. Louisans took time out from their holiday weekend to rally against the proposed takeover of Anheuser-Busch.
On Saturday afternoon, about 100 supporters marched through downtown St. Louis to protest to buyout offer from the Belgian-based InBev.
The organization is hoping to gather as many as 100,000 signatures on its petition.
Organizers said they plan to deliver the petition to the brewery and major shareholders like Warren Buffet.
