Overturned tanker spills hundreds of gallons of fuel near House Springs creak

St. Louis (KMOV) – The Missouri Highway Patrol said a tanker carrying nearly 9000 gallons of fuel overturned into a creek at Highway MM and Duda Rd. in House Springs, Mo. on Saturday afternoon.
The Fire Chief of High Ridge said about 25 to 30 homes were evacuated but residents have since been allowed to return.
The driver of the tanker was injured and taken to St. Anthony's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to officials.
Julie Serinie, a spokesperson with the Missouri Highway Patrol, said the tanker had lost more than 600 gallons of fuel as of Saturday afternoon.
