Illinois school all clear after invasion of 25,000 bees
02:31 PM CDT on Thursday, May 22, 2008
(KMOV) -- An area school is now clear of bees, but that wasn't the case earlier this week.
As many as 25,000 bees invaded a fifth grade classroom at Delhi Elementary School in Jersey County, IL.
The bees covered the windows and lived in the ceiling tiles.
Some of them were even in the lights two days later.
A local beekeeper had to come in and scoop up the bees and take them to his hives in Brighton, IL.
