Police have released this sketch of the suspect.
(KMOV) -- Police are looking for a man responsible for a sexual attack on the campus of Washington University. He is described as a black male about six feet tall, 180 pounds and in his 20's. They have released a composte sketch of the suspect.
He has a beard and goatee. Police say the man got into the Myers Residence Hall on Monday afternoon.
Police say he then attacked a woman in her room.
The assault happened three months after a News 4 I-Team producer got into a Wash-U dorm for a story about campus security.
Police say the man had a weapon when he forced his way into the dorm room, sexually assaulted the woman and robbed her. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.
Students learned about the crime in an e-mail sent Monday night from the university.
Although Wash-U says it self-reported 14 sexual assaults in 2004 and 2005, a university spokesman says this is apparently the first stranger sexual assault in at least seven years.
For security, students have special access ID cards to get into their dorms and are urged to not allow strangers in the buildings.
But that doesn't always work.

Dorm at Washington University
Three months ago, a News 4 undercover producer got inside one of the Wash-U dorms, walking around for several minutes before he was confronted by campus police and escorted off the property.
Washington University says it signed a contract last September to install video cameras at undisclosed locations around campus; those cameras could be in place within a few months.
It is unclear how long the security guards will remain at the dorms.
