MetroLink’s cross-county route on track for fall opening

Shrewsbury (KMOV) -- Operators give the new cross county MetroLink line a test run by taking one of the light-rail trains down the tracks. KMOV Workers towed the car to the Shrewsbury Station at Landsdowne and Interstate 44. That is at the south end of the line. The 8-mile long extension, connecting St. Louis, University City, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood and Shrewsbury is scheduled for operation this fall.
