(KMOV) -- Thousands of people sick of big government and big spending showed up for St. Louis's tea party.
Wednesday's protest in St. Louis was one of about 300 nationwide.
About 6,000 people showed up at Kiener Plaza downtown.
Speakers blasted AIG bonuses, government bailouts and stimulus spending.
While some signs in the crowd took aim at the president others say the protest is not about politics.
Organizers say they are planning a third St. Louis tea party for July 4th.
