(KMOV) -- It turns out the beating of a man could be at least the second fight involving off-duty police officers at the same bar.

Both men believe they were beaten up by off-duty police officers who were hanging out at the bar.

The latest victim, who suffered a severe concussion along with broken bones, is still in the hospital.

The other victim, Wade Harris, told News 4 he can't believe it’s happened again.

During Thanksgiving weekend at Binford’s, Harris was rushed to the hospital after an attack he says was unprovoked.

Witnesses say the culprit jumped in his truck and took off. Police pulled him over.

According to police reports obtained by News 4, the suspect jumped out of his truck and shouted he was an off-duty officer from Delwood named Joseph Hollocher.

Harris doesn't believe that happened and says that Hollocher should have been given a breathalyzer.

The Cottelville cop even noted a strong odor of alcohol coming from the passengers in Hollocher's truck, but added he didn't smell it on Hollocher and assumed he was the designated driver.

Hollocher wasn't taken to jail that night. Instead he was released and later charged with third-degree assault.

More than anything Harris wants an apology.

News 4 called Hollocher at the Delwood police department. A co-worker called us back to say they couldn't comment on the case.

As far as the latest incident at the bar, there are still no charges in that case.
