St. George shutting down its police department

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- It's the end of the line for a local police department best known for speed traps and a confrontation caught on video.
On Friday, St. George announced it is shutting down its police department.
St. George will now pay the St. Louis County police to patrol the town in south St. Louis County.
The department drew national attention and criticism for a recorded conversation in September 2007.
