| Recommended Illinois closes 19 state parks and historical sites

ST. LOUIS (KMOV)- In an effort to slash the state budget, Illinois has officially closed 19 state parks and historical sites. Among these are the Historic Courthouse in Cahokia, Weldon Springs State Park in Clinton County, and Fort de Chartres in Randolph County.
