MoDOT schedules hearings on I-70 truck-only lanes

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled three public hearings for people to review and comment on a document that describes how MoDOT can improve Interstate 70 with truck-only lanes between Independence and Lake St. Louis.
The meetings are scheduled for:
Tuesday, March 3 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Warren County Extension Center, 107 W. Walton Street, Warrenton, Mo.
Wednesday, March 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 W. Ash Street, Columbia, Mo.
Thursday, March 5 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Blue Springs American Legion Hall, 499 SW State Route 7, Blue Springs, Mo.
An online public hearing will be hosted at www.improveI70.org. Written comments also will be accepted at I-70 Draft SEIS, 715 Kirk Drive, Kansas City, Mo. 64105.
Public hearings and comments are part of a review period that opened on January 30 and closes March 16.
