EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KMOV) -- Two teens charges in the death of Ronald McFarland.

Police say Antwyan Edwards and Demond Steward carjacked McFarland Tuesday. Both are 17 years old.

Investigators say the teenagers forced McFarland out of his pickup.

Police believe McFarland tried to jump into the bed of the truck and hit his head.

The teenagers are accused of picking up the injured man, dumping him and leaving him for dead.

Edwards and Steward are facing charges for carjacking and failure to report a death.
