(KMOV) - Since 1989 there have been five suspected abductions in rural areas around Eastern Missouri.

All these suspected abductions were in small-town or rural areas. Two girls, three boys, all between the ages of 11 and 13-years-old.

The cases in rural Missouri include Gina Dawn Brooks in Fredericktown in 1989, last seen riding her bike.

Two years later, Arlin Henderson disappears riding his bike near his home in Moscow Mills.

Five years ago Shawn Hornbeck last seen on his bike heading to a friend's home in Richwoods.

In 2005 Blanca Piper is last seen walking on a road near her home near Foley and now 13-year-old Ben Ownby.

Piper's mother has already contacted authorities offering to meet with the Ownby family if they would like.

Her advice, release several photos of the missing child

Besides the amber alert the details of the Ownby case are now on Powerball tickets.

The suspect vehicle description and Franklin county sheriff's number are on printed on the ticket.

Tanner's daughter, just like Ben Ownby, is on the national missing children's website which offers age-progressed photos of those missing for several years.

But Tanner's also got her own website, www.findbianca.org.

Tanner says she believes it's less difficult to abduct a child in a rural area compared to an urban area.

Tanner says a group called "Team Adam” made up of retired detectives that work on cold case files is now looking at Bianca's case.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children lists 37 still missing in cases that date back to 1965.
