Man dies in Metro-East motorcycle wreck

(KMOV) -- A Fairview Heights, Ill. man is dead following a motorcycle accident Thursday morning.
Michael Weissert, 49, died at the scene when his motorcycle crashed on Llewellen Road, just west of Frank Scott Parkway in Swansea, Illinois.
The accident happened at 6:30 a.m.
Weissert was not wearing a helmet.
Police say the roads were wet at the time of the crash.
