Kenneth Eidman talks to a friend in front of what's left of his home in Mascoutah, Ill.
The Eidman’s took shelter and huddled together in a central room of their house on Jefferson Road just south of Mascoutah, Ill. when the storm passed through.
The home was destroyed and debris was scattered about a quarter-mile from the house. Judging by the damage done to the home, it’s remarkable that this elderly couple survived.
Kenneth Eidman says his wife was not hurt and his only injury was a scratch on his finger.
