(KMOV) -- Two men have been arrested in the death of a Jefferson County driver.

Shauwn Nettles and Stanley Scott have been charged with second degree murder in the death of Tony Herget, of High Ridge. 

On May 5, investigators say Nettles and Scott fired shots at a car whose passengers included a 2-year-old girl.  While chasing the car in their own, Nettles and Scott crashed into a pickup truck driven by Herget.  He died later that evening as a result of the crash. 

In addition to being charged with murder, Nettles and Scott are charged with three counts of first degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.   

Bond has been set at $1,000,000.
