Man loses prosthetic leg while skydiving

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) -- A skydiver who lost his prosthetic leg in the air isn't letting the mishap get him down -- he made a jump with his replacement leg two days after it arrived.
Scott Listemann's new, $12,000 leg made it through the plunge without incident.
The 47-year-old skydiver wore a special jumpsuit and a foot harness as a precaution.
He says the jump was "absolutely wonderful."
Listemann is unsure why his previous prosthesis flew off during a jump in June.
After trying unsuccessfully to find it, Listemann got around on crutches until the replacement arrived last week.
He lost his left leg below the knee when a truck hit him in November.
