MEXICO CITY (AP) -- A fake CIA ID isn't the way to impress your new boss.
Police in Mexico City report detaining a job hunter at the U.S. Embassy.
Authorities say Israel Cortes wanted to apply for a position as a driver and tried flashing a phony CIA badge to cut to the front of the line.
Police say Cortes admitted to making the fake ID and a phony letter of recommendation supposedly signed by an American diplomat.
