Former St. Louis County officer caught in Internet sting

(KMOV) -- A former St. Louis County police officer is now charged with trying to send pornography to a minor.

Prosecutors say David Doerhoff sent a nude photo of himself online to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

That "girl" was a Maryland Heights police officer.

St. Louis County police fired the 23-year-old last month, right after his arrest.
