(KMOV) -- Police in Pevely, MO are looking for an alleged rapist.

According to police, a 68-year-old woman was raped as she was leaving her home to go to work.

It happened last Thursday morning just before 6:00 a.m. on Cha Bern Drive.

The victim says she was coming out of the door to her carport when a male subject forced her back against the door.

The woman says that the suspect had some kind of material wrapped around his face and the victim could only see his eyes.

He allegedly pulled her onto the carport, blindfolded her and then raped her.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's to 30's, approximately 5'10" to 6'1" with a proportional weight.

The victim says that the suspect was armed with a knife.

A cap with the words “Lucky Hat” on it was recovered at the scene.
