Alton, IL (KMOV) -- Two adults, three teenagers and a 12-year-old are now charged with the torture and murder of a mentally disabled woman.

In all, six people are charged with the murder of Dorothy Dixon.

Dixon was six months pregnant when she died January 31st.

Investigators say over the course of four to eight weeks Dixon was burned with liquids, beaten and repeatedly shot with B.B. guns.

Originally only one person, Judy Woods, 43, was charged in this case. Woods has been indicted on charges of first-degree murder and intentional homicide of an unborn child.

Now police have charged 5 others, including three teens in Dixon’s death.

According to police, Michelle Riley, 35, Michael Elliott, 18, Riley’s daughter Leshelle McBride, 15, Riley’s 12-year-old son, and Benny Wilson, 16, have all been charged with first-degree murder, intentional homicide of an unborn child, heinous batter, aggravated battery and unlawful restraint.

Dixon was pronounced dead at a home where she lived with Judy Woods, the 16-year-old boy, Michelle Riley and her two children. Michael Elliott did not live in the home, but has a relationship with one of the other residents.

The two teens are being charged as adults in this case. The 12-year-old is being charged as a juvenile.
