Southwest Bank in Crestwood robbed
(KMOV) – Police say a man walked into the M&I Bank located on the 9000 block of Watson Road in Crestwood around 1:15 p.m., displayed a note asking for money, took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran from the scene.
The note he handed the teller read, “give me all of your money. No dye bags now”. The teller says he even stated the demand in words.
Police say the man ran from the building, heading east.
They say he was possibly seen getting into a red minivan and driving away east on Watson, but this has not been confirmed.
Police are still investigating.
