TUESDAY, SEPT. 7  

Navy Day at the World Aquarium in the City Museum (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.:  “Any Day in the Navy” show-and-tell presentations featuring Sailors in a variety of today’s uniforms and demonstrating actual Navy equipment and professions.
• 12:30 p.m.:  Youth Weekend program Science Fair, featuring science project presentations by local children.
• 2:30 p.m.:  Dynamic, high-energy group of eight Navy musicians entertaining children and supervisors in the City Museum parking lot.
• All day:  Navy divers inside 7,500-gallon mobile dive tank interacting with the Science Center crowd and taking orders via grease pen on the dive tank window; Navy Experience Simulator; tricked-out Navy SUV with video games and other interactive features; Navy helicopter on display.

Rear Adm. Philip Davidson speaks to St. Louis Rams front office at Rams Park (9:30-10:00 a.m.)
• Speech about leadership and teamwork to St. Louis Rams front office staff by Rear Admiral Philip Davidson, a St. Louis native who just returned from a seven-month deployment and also just received orders to become senior military advisor to the U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in Washington, DC.

Navy teams with St. Louis Rams players for NFL Play60 event with St. Charles Boys & Girls Club (3:00 – 4:30 p.m. TIMING TENTATIVE)
• Sailors and Rams players leading Boys & Girls Club members in stretches, drills and activities, and speaking to the children about the importance of staying active. 
• Group photo and autograph session for participants.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 8  

Rear Adm. Philip Davidson meets with St. Louis Urban League CEO James Buford (9:30 a.m.)
• Rear Admiral Philip Davidson will meet with CEO Buford of Urban League, which advocates and provides services for African Americans and others struggling in poverty in this community. 
• A St. Louis native, RADM Davidson just returned from a seven-month deployment and also just received orders to become senior military advisor to the U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in Washington, DC.

Sailors assisting with lessons at First Tee St. Louis at Highland Golf Course (5:30 – 7:00 p.m.)
• Local Sailors from the Navy Operational Support Center will provide pointers to young golfers that participate in First Tee, which provides young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing values such as confidence, perseverance and judgment through golf and character education.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 9  

Navy Blue Angels arrive for demonstrations at Scott Air Force Base Air Show (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.)
• 9:00 a.m.:  The Navy Blue Angels make their arrival in their famous Delta formation to the Scott Air Force Base for the weekend’s Airpower Over the Midwest Air Show.
• 10:30-11 a.m.:  Media availability with the Navy Blue Angels.

Unveiling of an Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet display at the St. Louis Science Center (8:00 a.m.)
• A retired F/A-18 Hornet Blue Angel aircraft will be unveiled during a ceremony at the St. Louis Science Center.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 11 

Airpower Over the Midwest at Scott AFB (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Navy divers inside 7,500-gallon mobile dive tank interacting with the Science Center crowd and taking orders via grease pen on the dive tank window.
• Tricked-out Navy SUV with video games and other interactive features

SUNDAY, SEPT. 12

Navy Blue Angels perform at Airpower Over the Midwest at Scott AFB (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Approx. 3:00 p.m.:  The Navy Blue Angels performing a variety of their famous aerial acrobatics in a flight demonstration.
• All day:  Navy divers inside 7,500-gallon mobile dive tank interacting with the Science Center crowd and taking orders via grease pen on the dive tank window; tricked-out Navy SUV with video games and other interactive features.

St. Louis Navy Week is one of 20 such weeks scheduled to take place in cities across the country this year. Each Navy Week is designed to give Americans a better understanding of the Navy, the Sailors who serve in it and the important work they do – here at home and around the world.
