St. Louis (KMOV) – Are you looking for something quick, yet out of the ordinary?

Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville takes us to Midtown for this week's Sauce on the Street.

Located close to SLU's campus, the U offers sandwiches, salads and other munchies with a collegiate twist.

All items have class schedule names, but the U caters to more than just students.

They deliver until 3 a.m. and their sandwiches are hot and hearty, even the grilled veggie.

Meat lovers will devour the blue peppercorn beef with blue cheese crumbles and five peppercorn ranch.

Vegetarians have been raving about the sesame tofu sandwich and one of their biggest sellers is the salmon pesto club.

If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, order one of the U's substantial salads.

You can add chicken, beef, ham, salmon or tofu to the mix.

And while you can always order fries on the side, you have to try their onion strings that are crunchy, salty and sweet.
