Have you ever heard of the necklace test or the pencil test? It's an old wives tale. Basically this test will tell you if you are going to have a boy or a girl. It works if you're pregnant or not pregnant and it will tell you all the sex of all the kids you have had or will have. My co-worker and our fabulous morning anchor Virginia Kerr is expecting her first baby and heard about this test from her friends. Several of her friends did the test and it was accurate on every single one! Creepy, huh?

Virginia told me about the test, so we decided to try it out on me. I'm expecting my second little one and I won't find out what the baby is until July. If you want to see what the necklace test revealed about the sex of my baby, watch the video above.

All you have to do is hold out your arm with your palm facing up. Then, have a friend hold a necklace with a pendant or a pencil tied to a string over your wrist. The pencil or necklace will either move back and forth or spin in a circle. Back and forth means a boy, circle means a girl.

Have you heard of this test? Have you heard of any other old wives tales like this one?
