LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Nicollette Sheridan’s suit over her firing from “Desperate Housewives” has been thrown out. A judge didn’t rule on Sheridan’s claim that she was fired because she’d accused the show’s creator Marc Cherry of hitting her on the head. He decided that Sheridan should’ve taken her complaints to a labor commission instead. Cherry has denied hitting Sheridan. He says he tapped her on the head while giving her direction on her character. Sheridan’s attorney says he’ll appeal.
